There are really 4 types of real estate brokers:

At the top, there’s the Grant Cardone’s of the world and the Million Dollar Listing TV stars, which are really less than 0.1% of the real estate sphere.

Then there are the sharks.

Real estate brokers who are straight-up assassins, making millions every year just by closing deals (by the way, if that’s you, I don’t want to waste your time, this ad is not for you).

Then, there’s those who have a family business or a few ventures of their own and are working on some big projects on the side, hoping to land a huge deal to take them to the next level. But even if it doesn’t work out, they still have their thing going on to cover for their bread and butter.

And lastly, there are the hustlers.

Those who dropped everything else they were doing and went all-in on becoming successful real estate agents and brokers in hopes of becoming one day, sharks themselves.

And though I probably would have been somewhere in the third group while I was a RE agent in NYC, a lot of times it sure as hell felt like being part of that last group, knowing that if I don’t close a couple of rentals this month, it’s going to get real tight!

Now the reason I’m telling you all of this is that I recently thought about you.
